National Qualifiers Come to Town

In case you’ve never heard of the Rumble at 18 Road it’s a Cross Country Mountain Bike and Trail Running race north of Fruita, Colorado happening April 21st.

This event is an official Nationals Qalifier by American Mounatin Bike Challenge (AMBC) in which the top 10 riders in each class and category qualify to compete in USA Cycling National Championships!

And while I am not a National Champion it sounds pretty exciting to me. Check out this description from the madracingcolorado.com website,

Cyclocross events are MADly popular with our event goers! You know you’ll suffer–and love it. You know our courses will challenge every last bit of your will power while trying to fill your legs with acid. But in the end, after a hard-fought race of battling others and your own will, you’ll ride away satisfied knowing the obstacles were challenging and fun, the race was accurately timed, the rules were clearly followed, and the riders finished safely. We’ll post the results and make them readily available for all to view. Our cylcocross races are challenging, fun, and full of excitement. Come sweat out on the course and maybe even earn a spot on the podium. Go ahead and register for the next available event now!
